NC Domestic Terrorism — Turtle Island Preserve

To Pat McCrory (NC Governor elect), the NC legislature, the Watauga County Sheriff Dept., the Watauga County Planning and Inspections Dept., the Appalachian District Health Dept. (via website contact form), and Boone/Asheville media:

The entire NC State Legislature should be ashamed that it allows such crimes against its residents:

Upon reading this, I feel ashamed to be a North Carolinian!  This one hits very close to home for me, as it's somewhat similar to the local tyranny I continue to face with regard to my property situation (http://tinyurl.com/bqgxt56).  My heart truly goes out to Eustace Conway and his family.  I pray he finds recourse to these crimes committed against him by his local government, which have been allowed by the State of NC.

There is a petition drive going on with not many days left, but at the time of my writing this only ~1600 signatures are needed.  Apparently this petition will be presented to the Chairman of the NC Building Codes Council on Dec 10th.

I'm not holding my breath, as from my experience with regard to these authoritarian Collectivist (and most often arbitrary) "building codes" issues, the bureaucrats seem to often "pass the buck" when confronted.  Regardless, I signed it anyway in hopes of a miracle — or that the NC Government might actually do its job in fulfilling its proper role and function: to protect the unalienable rights of the individual.

As America's so called "War on Terror" continues, the mainstream media is very silent when it comes to "Domestic Terrorism", defined by TheFreeDictionary.com as:

Noun1.domestic terrorism - terrorism practiced in your own country against your own people; "the 1995 bombing of a federal building in Oklahoma City was an instance of domestic terrorism"
act of terrorismterrorismterrorist act - the calculated use of violence (or the threat of violence) against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature; this is done through intimidation or coercion or instilling fear.

It's time We the People start addressing such actions perpetrated by our own government which violate individual unalienable rights for what it is: Domestic Terrorism.

Rather than continuing to allow our own government to label any of US as "potential terrorists" simply because we speak out in opposition to such crimes against the People, We need to proactively do our part as American patriots in this endless "War on Terror" by loudly and ubiquitously proclaiming each and every time our government commits acts of Domestic Terrorism against US until the bureaucrats squirm!

If even the NC State Legislature and Governor will do nothing to stop such acts of Domestic Terrorism committed by NC government agencies against its own People, it's up to the People to engage in acts of civil disobedience as an effective non-violent recourse to this form of tyranny, since there appears to be non other.

Either that, or perhaps We the People should just accept our condition of slavery in this authoritarian Collectivist State and pursue a class action lawsuit against the US Government for false advertising: "Land of the Free, and Home of the Brave".
