Biblical “Christmas” Message

The only Biblical “Christmas” Message I can find…

Jeremiah 10:

 10:1 Hear the word which the LORD speaks to you, O house of Israel.

 2 Thus says the LORD: “Do not learn the way of the Gentiles; Do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven, For the Gentiles are dismayed at them.

 3 For the customs of the peoples are futile; For one cuts a tree from the forest, The work of the hands of the workman, with the ax.

 4 They decorate it with silver and gold; They fasten it with nails and hammers So that it will not topple.

 5 They are upright, like a palm tree, And they cannot speak; They must be carried, Because they cannot go by themselves. Do not be afraid of them, For they cannot do evil, Nor can they do any good.”

The pagan observation of “Christmas” goes way back, it just wasn’t called “Christmas” at that time.  It was and still is a pagan (aka: “gentile”) celebration in observance of the sun — it’s sun worship, not Son worship.  This is why it falls on December 25, closely coinciding with the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year.  In various ancient pagan societies, appeasing sacrifices were even made to the “sun-god” of that group of people so to ensure the days would again grow longer.

There is no Biblical reference to “Christmas” other than that found in Jeremiah 10.  The scriptures make clear, and most honest scholars agree, that Jesus Christ, Yahshua Messiah, was born in the fall, most likely around the time of the Feast of Tabernacles (a Biblical fall annual appointed time of God) when most all of Israel came to Jerusalem to observe the festival according to the Biblical commandment of God.

In the coming kingdom of God which will exist here on this earth for 1000 years, we will all be observing His annual holy days, rather than the worldly holidays which have confused the entire plan of God, and served to lead mankind away from understanding more of God’s truths.

One merely has to check out various prophetical scriptures regarding the coming kingdom of God and one will find references of observing God’s weekly and annual Sabbaths and appointed times.  In fact, there are scriptural references which also carry a warning for all those who refuse to do so.

This is not being shared for judgment or criticism.  It’s being shared in order to help reveal deceptions in this world wherever they are found, and encourage others to do their own Biblical study while they approach God asking for spiritual guidance in discerning truth from deceit.

The word “love” is found in the Bible over 300 times.  The word “truth” over 200 times.  If the math isn’t telling enough on its own, we would be wise to consider while studying the scriptures that it is apparent that God places great importance upon both love and truth.

My Recent Apple Experience

To Tim Cook, CEO Apple Computer, regarding my recent Apple experience:

I have been an Apple Macintosh consultant/reseller/technician from around 1988~1997, and a user since around 1985.  A fellow Macintosh enthusiast from college and I decided to start a Macintosh computer business, “The Graphic Edge” (later incorporating) upon graduating from college at UNC-Asheville rather than using our college degrees.

Our enthusiasm for the Macintosh platform and willingness to dig into the variety of electronic publishing software at that time gained us much notoriety as “Macintosh gurus” by the local ad design & printing companies, and shortly thereafter became an official Apple VAR.  We also ran a local Mac user group during those years and frequented every east coast MacWorld Expo to learn as much as we could about new developments in the industry.

Long story short, my history with all things Macintosh goes nearly all the way back to the beginning.  We might have continued in this decade long business longer, but various life changes along with what we felt were very bad decisions in Apple during the mid-late 90’s caused us to go on to other things.

I share this with you so that you know a bit about my long history with and advocacy of Macintosh computers.

I’ve been running a MacBook Pro (17 inch, early 2011).  Apple decided to drop its 17” screen MacBook Pro laptops after 2011, ignoring the needs of many professionals who need both portability and a decent sized screen.  Therefore, since I won’t tolerate Windows, I have no other option than to fix this MacBook Pro whenever it fails.

Recently, it failed for the second time in its history and for the same reason — a poorly designed logic board & cooling system which Apple refused to remedy.  I didn’t know this until I spoke with a tech at Powerbook Medic in Alabama who explained the matter to me.

Back in 2016 I had the same problem.  Apple “repaired” the logic board at that point.  However, when I had the same troubles again this year, I contacted an Apple tech to simply ask how it is possible to know whether or not the real problem was actually permanently fixed back in 2016 — what part was reworked to remedy the problem, or was there a new serial number on the logic boards which were reworked?  How was it possible to know by looking at my logic board whether or not the repair team used the newly corrected board?  No Apple tech could give me a direct answer — ever.

As I soon discovered there was a law suit against Apple for this overheating problem which affected apparently thousands upon thousands of MacBook Pros.  Rather than actually “fixing” the poor design issues which cause this overheating problem, Apple was allowed through a law suit agreement to just replace the logic boards — logic boards with the same problematic issues!

The fact that Apple both ceased to manufacture 17” MacBook Pros coupled with the fact that Apple elected to screw over its loyal customers through deceit — in my case, of 30+ years — claiming the problem had been “fixed” is completely despicable.  This is NOT the kind of customer service Apple built over the decades.  I’ve continued to hear other stories from Apple customers who have been plagued with various problems even with some of the newer laptop models, as well as criticism over the extremely overpriced and underpowered MacPro.

Further, I now understand that Apple has led the recent swell for censorship of those with whom it and other computing, online sales, and social media companies find philosophical or political disagreement.

Could it be that in all the schooling various CEO’s such as yourself certainly experience, many of you never came across the book Fahrenheit 451?  Ironically, Amazon sells the book but perhaps its CEO never understood its message, while also aligning itself with these proponents of censorship.  Rather than referring such actions as internet censorship, you apparently refer to it as internet “curating”.  You may be able to fool the masses, but you are not fooling independent thinkers.

Also ironic in regards to Apple’s new found love for censorship, Steve Jobs' Apple once successfully used the creative marketing slogan “Think Different”.  Tim Cook’s Apple ought to now consider a new slogan to reflect these actions: “Think Not For Yourself”.

Apple would do well to dispense with engaging in political tyranny, and rather focus more upon that in which it used to excel: making quality computers and standing by its products… before the “rest of us” loyal customers of decades are forced to ditch the Apple brand on principle if not out of necessity.

Public Servant Liberty Education

(My emailed letter to all Buncombe County Sheriff candidates...)

Dear Buncombe Sheriff Candidates,

I was largely put off by the Buncombe County Sheriff Candidate Forum presented by "Democracy NC”, apparently comprised of “racially" charged groups.

I was perhaps most disappointed with all but one of the answers to the question of whether or not the new Sheriff administration would make a point to hire more minorities.  Only Tracey Debruhl answered correctly and without racial bias — that individuals should be hired based upon their skills and abilities ratter than their gender, ethnicity, or skin color.

I waited over an hour and one half for the public question segment, but because the sponsors spent so much time focusing upon so called “racism” with their questions, and because I'm "white", I was unable to ask my following question which every American should ask of ALL public servants and those running for office (especially for that of Sheriff):

My paramount concern for selecting our next Sheriff has to do with honesty & integrity, and is therefore two part:

1. Who among you understands that a so called "assault rifle" does not mean "semi-automatic firearm”?

2. Who among you recognizes that should a corrupt Congress manage to unjustly eliminate the 2nd Amendment, that obeying any kind of firearm confiscation would still be a violation of your oath of office to protect our Creator-given Natural Right of Self-Defense?

I wasn’t going to include Mr. Fisher on this due to his widely published anti-American and anti-Natural Rights remarks in which he actually joked about murdering peaceful Americans who would resist such a tyrannical action, defending that which he would apparently dishonestly pledge to uphold.

Based upon recent comments from the mayor and council, they would do likewise if they had the opportunity.  This ought to be grounds for immediate removal from office for violating their Oath, but apparently in this presently corrupted government system we find ourselves, there is no penalty for blatantly violating one’s Oath.

However, in the spirit of education I decided to include Fisher and others in this category, along with Buncombe commissioners.  My hope and prayer is that more individuals, even those who seem entirely lost, will come to understand the truths I’m sharing in this letter.

Regardless of personal opinion, the primary truth of this matter is that every public servant takes an Oath of Office to defend the US Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic.  The very purpose of the US Constitution is to not only limit the power of the STATE, but also to mandate the STATE protect our Natural Rights which are unalienable and bestowed upon each individual, NOT by the STATE, but by our Creator (Nature or Nature’s God).

The US Constitution does not grant us our Natural Rights, thus the STATE has no authority to violate any of our Natural Rights — Natural Law trumps Civil Law, and specifically this includes our Natural Right to Self-Defense.

The fact is bad laws should be resisted by both the people and the people’s pubic servants.  For example, if the same corrupt Congress were to make alcohol illegal, it would be the duty of the people and the people’s public servants to actively resist this bad law through civil disobedience until the bad law was overturned.  Of course, this bad law was passed nearly one hundred years ago causing many murders and creating organized crime mobs to boot.  Other such bad prohibitionary laws against various natural drugs have been passed since which likewise cause murders far beyond that of those caused by “gun violence”.

Therefore, should it come to a point in time whereby Congress is able to eliminate the Second Amendment, it remains the duty of all elected officials who took their Oath of Office to resist such tyranny.  Those who refuse to do so make of themselves treasonous domestic terrorists.

Those who disagree with these truths I have presented here ought to then consider the following: when one advocates for any kind of gun confiscation, one is simultaneously advocating the murder of at least 3 million Americans in order to force their opinion upon others through the power of the STATE.

So before committing to such acts of treason, tyranny, and murder, each one of you should ask yourself if you are willing to send thugs out to murder millions of peaceful Americans who will not comply with firearm confiscations under any circumstances, because they understand their Natural Right of Self-Defense.

We are only one week away from the NC primary election.  Myself and many other local residents of Buncombe County are paying close attention to everything the Sheriff candidates and presently elected public servants have to say about this crucial matter and will cast our votes accordingly.

"Equality"

Collectivists advocate “equality”, however, they rarely acknowledge the kind of “equality” which a free society necessitates.

I came across the following article regarding the proliferation of plutocracies in modern times, featuring an interview with one Branko Milanovic, who was attributed as “one of the world’s foremost authorities on inequality”:

The article includes much chatter about plutocracies via "political capitalism", yet there is not one mention about how the control and manipulation of fiat currencies has created the largest financial banking scam in the history of mankind, allowing an elite ruling class to become super wealthy while the working masses bear the burden of the perpetually increasing debt incurred by the scam.  This economic scam is the primary cultivator of plutocracies.

A paramount fact which collectivists apparently refuse to acknowledge is that "capitalism" really means "free market", of which there are none in the entire world besides the unregulated black market.  Whenever a government imposes regulations upon the otherwise free market, the market is no longer "free" and therefore cannot accurately be called "Capitalism".

"Equality" should have absolutely nothing to do with the redistribution of wealth, as collectivists routinely assert.  Rather, it should have everything to do with ensuring the unalienable Natural Rights of the individual has equal protection under the rule of law.

In such a legal construct where the STATE performs its proper function in a free society, peace, prosperity, and liberty will be maximized.  By contrast, when the STATE allows — or itself commits — violations of Natural Rights (such as interfering with the otherwise free market), turmoil, poverty, and tyranny is maximized.

AVL Mayor and Council Violate Oath of Office

(My letter to NC Governor Roy Cooper; cc: Buncombe Commissioners & Sheriff & Asheville City Council)

Dear Governor Cooper:

I live in Buncombe County and a serious matter regarding a local threat of domestic terrorism has come to my attention.

The Mayor of the City of Asheville, Esther Manheimer, along with the entire City Council, have unanimously voted to tell NC State as well as Federal officials to “ban 'assault’ weapons”.  Manheimer admitted her agenda is to go further, to ban ALL semi-automatic firearms.

Resulting from political deceit, it is somewhat difficult to understand the meaning of “assault weapon”, because both the mainstream media and politicians such as these often erroneously refer to semi-automatic firearms as “assault weapons” in attempts to control the narrative and scare an uninformed public.  In this case, it has been admitted by Manheimer that her agenda is to prohibit ALL semi-automatic firearms, which is nearly every single firearm in existence, including revolvers.

Such declarations made by these pubic officials constitutes a violation of their sworn oath of office to protect and defend the US Constitution from all foreign and domestic threats.  In doing so they have exemplified incompetence to hold office not only for violating their oath of office, but also for treason against the American people for conveying threats of domestic terrorism.

As a very concerned citizen of Buncombe County, I am making these actions known to your office of NC Governor.  Every Asheville City Council member has violated their oath of office to protect and defend the US Constitution by calling for the NC State legislature to ban both fully automatic and semi-automatic firearms, and should be removed from office immediately and also be charged for treason for communicating threats which would directly violate the individual and unalienable Natural Right to Self-Defense, which the US Constitution is designed to legally protect.

It’s great to hear of such an increase of people locally taking their Natural Right of Self-Defense more seriously — this will certainly lead to a reduction of crime!

Sadly, it’s apparent from the comments of some in this article and online posts that there are still those who remain deceived into believing the insanity that the STATE’s continued violations of our Natural Right to Self-Defense can in any way prevent — or even minimize — violent crime in America.

In fact, the opposite has been proven to be the case with the STATE’s creation of so called “Gun Free Zones” in the 90’s.  Since then nearly every mass shooting has taken place in such dangerous zones created by the STATE.

An astute conspiracy theorist would have to wonder if the entire purpose of creating such dangerous anti-liberty zones was to actually increase the potential of violent crimes in order for the STATE to increase support for tyrannical gun regulations, like the mandatory “buyback” plan that Hillary Clinton and other tyrants in power desire.  After all, there is no “theory” to the conspiracy of these Collectivists who desire to unarm common law abiding Americans, as they’ve routinely stated.

And of course we have more than our own share of Collectivists locally who exemplify themselves as being entirely out of touch with reality.  Consider the insanity exhibited here from Cecil Bothwell:

“The uptick in concealed carry permits should worry everyone. When more people are toting weapons, concealed or not, all of us are less safe.”

The absurdity of such a statement is beyond ignorant, for it is not based in reality but rather a fantasy within one’s own mind.  For starters and as already mentioned, anyone can witness the facts  regarding the result of STATE mandated “Gun Free Zones”.  Further, the paramount fact of the matter ignored (intentionally?) by such Collectivists is that no legislation can ever prevent a criminal from acquiring a weapon via the black market and then acting violently — PERIOD.

Even Dianne Feinstein (finally) publicly admits what most everyone already knew as a matter of simple reasoning, that no gun regulations could prevent such tragedies as the Vegas shooting.  So then, when are the rest of the anti-gun Collectivists going to admit this truth?

Do they not recognize the parallel with the “War on Drugs”?  After all, a plethora of drugs have been deemed “illegal” — illegally — by the tyrannical STATE, yet this has never prevented anyone (including politicians) from being able to acquire them.  So why do people embrace the insane idea that this would work any differently… for ANYTHING???  One would think that the evil fruit of alcohol prohibition in the 1920’s would have taught this lesson to anyone with a functioning intellect.

The overwhelming fact of the matter is that when more law abiding citizens are armed and trained, we are all more safe!

The reason for this is plain for most everyone to understand, but we can certainly spell it out for those having difficulty: criminals are most prone to commit crimes in which they believe they have the greatest chance of success.  This is a simple concept that one would imagine to be common knowledge.

Even mentally unstable violent criminals who have no goal other than to murder as many people as possible seek success, therefore, they most often select locations deemed by the STATE as “Gun Free Zones”, knowing that most people obey such laws (even though such bad laws should NOT be obeyed).

Speaking of mentally unsound, another common attribute of gun grabbing Collectivists is that they perpetually refuse to hold accountable those individuals committing violent crimes.  Rather, they place blame upon inanimate objects such as the weapons themselves and then seek to punish ALL innocent Americans by infringing upon their Natural Right to Self-Defense.

One local Collectivist commenting online in response to this article even blames a victim with “contributing to gun violence” for his firearm being stolen from inside his locked vehicle, rather than blaming the thief!  It’s sad to witness such delusion among those indoctrinated into anti-liberty collectivist philosophy.

Another fact is that there are often cases — scarcely properly covered by the fake MSM news — where lives are saved merely by one armed individual thwarting the actions of violent criminals.

For example, the recent horrific church shooting in Texas was ended by one neighbor with an AR-15, saving the lives of several innocent church goers that day.  The fake MSM news widely reported the fact that the mass shooter used an AR-15, and especially highlighted such rifles are easily accessible for purchase.  Yet among most all of the online articles I just searched through, absent from these reports is the parallel fact that the “good guy with a gun” who put an end to the murder was also using an AR-15.  Also unstated by MSM was any mention of the fact that had more individuals in that church been armed, chances are more lives could have been saved.

But how quickly and effortlessly the gun grabbers “forget” such facts!  Thankfully, we who honor the Natural Right of Self-Defense don’t forget!
